Sausage Making Class

Have you ever fancied trying to make your own sausages?

Bought as a gift or for yourself, you are able to come to the farm to create your very own artisan sausages using a wide range of ingredients and take home what you make afterwards.

All the meat you will work with is selected by us and comes from our fantastic suppliers. We source ethically reared, locally farmed animals.

The course is a half day workshop where you will go through the basics of sausage making:

  • Seasoning your sausages
  • The importance of choosing the right cuts of meat for a sausage
  • Emulsions - What are they and why?
  • Filling the sausages
  • Sausage linking/tying
  • Sausage best practice cooking and smoking methods

The Course also includes the opportunity to taste your creations cooked over fire!

Price: £120 per person (this also includes around 1-2kg of your very own sausages to take home with you)
