This sausage is pure decadence.
Made using F2 Wagyu from The Highland Wagyu company.
All their cattle are born and bred in the highlands of Scotland, any wagyu over here isn’t graded the same as in Japan but for all those not so sure what F2 means it is how we grade our cattle outside of Japan. This basically means it is a cross breed Wagyu cow.
F1 being a 50/50 cross and F3 - 83% and F4 being a full blood wagyu cow.
This particular breed (F2) is 75% Wagyu and 25% Aberdeen Angus. Which means the marbling is incredible, beautiful soft fat and the flavour is unreal. Made using in my opinion 2 of the best breed of cattle.
